Ideology Quiz
Q: Describe any first thoughts on your political ideology. Do you think you fit into a category? What causes you to put yourself in this category?
A: I've honestly never thought about what my pollitcal ideology was. I don't really connect myself with anything along those lines. I just don't care much.
Q: Note your 'typology group' and write a few brief descriptions about the definition. What do you agree or disagree with?
A: I don't really think I identify with one but I think if I really had to choose, I would choose BYSTANDERS. The definition of a "bystander" is Very young, poorly educated, with low income, opts out of the political process or are not eligible to vote. I agree with it.
Q: Note your 'political group'. Do you think the results are accurate? Were there any questions that should have been included in this quiz that you think are important for determining your political philosophy
A: I got LEFT LIBERAL and it said that Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.
Q: After you take a good look at the meaning of the four quadrants of the 'political compss', scroll down to YOUR political compass. Paste
your graph on this page. Do you prefer the government to control economic affairs or to leave them alone? Do you prefer the government to control social affairs or to leave them alone?
A:Economic Left/Right: -3.62, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.13. I perfer the government shouldn't leave economic affairs alone. I feel like they are the ones that can fix stuff like that more easily. As for social affairs, I think they should leave that alone. They really have nothing to do with that.
Q: Did any of your initial conceptions change after you took these 3 'quizes'? Please choose one of the questions asked by the final quiz, restate the question, then explain why you chose your answer.
A: no it didn't change. if i had to choose a question, i would choose the second question. I really did agree with because what it said on the page is really what I am, and i am hiscpanic after all.
